Clash Royale News Update: October Card Gets Lukewarm Reaction from Fans

Clash Royale has rolled out some card balancing updates for the real-time multiplayer game but it could not impress all the fans. Some are happy with the changes but some are still in love with the current version.

The card changes were introduced today and after the changes, Giant Hitpoints will be 5 percent weaker, reports iTech Post. Also, Poison will no longer retain the slow effect but its capacity to damage enemy soldiers will remain intact. Developer Supercell has said that the players who combine giant and poison give undue advantage to the wielder and from now onwards things will change.

He also announced that there will be monthly updates and the changes has been introduced to make sure that the game is balanced. After the update, players looking to get the Elixir Collector Card will need to pay six Elixirs from the previous five.

According to the developer, this is justified as the increase will force the player to be cautious while using the card. However, it is not completely tough as the Lifetime will add ten seconds more to the card wielder. He also said that the nerf is the result of the huge popularity of Giant and Poison.

Speaking of cards, the Ice Golem is a new card in the game and similar to its Golem counterpart, it could inflict any number of damages to the flying units. However, this is set to change as the Golem as well as the Ice Golem will be able to damage flying enemies. The good thing is that the cost for the Golem remains as it is i.e. 8 Elixirs each.

As for The Log, it is more lethal because the damage it will inflict has received an increment of nine percent. What is more, the reach has grown longer and thus, it can be a viable counter for the Skeleton Army that is also set to get a nerf through the update. Now, one can raise the Skeleton Army easily and as it will need only three elixirs but the numbers of skeletons that can be summoned have been reduced to 16 from 21.
