We're still trying to decide whether this latest "Fifty Shades of Grey" news is good or bad. According to Agencia EFE (via Global Post), there's been some major shake-up involving the erotic movie starring Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson.
We'll tell you the big news first. Reportedly, the upcoming movie will be "condensed into just one film." It was originally supposed to be three separate films, one for each of E.L. James' erotic novels. The website claims a representative for the production company gave them this scoop but didn't reveal why the project is being downsized.
Some of the leaked movie set photos has left some people confused because it wasn't really clear which scenes were being filmed. In a couple of the photos it seemed like several scenes were being combined into one. For example, a picture surfaced of Anastasia Steele (played by Dakota Johnson) standing outside with Grey Enterprises with Christian Grey (played by Jamie Dornan).
At first there was speculation that it was the interview scene where Ana awkwardly interviews the kinky billionaire for the school newspaper but as several people pointed out she doesn't leave the interview holding a manila envelope. It was also speculated that it could have been the scene where Christian asked her to sign the contract. Because some of the scenes have been condescend, maybe it will only be one film.
Global Post also claims that producers have decided to cancel production in Vancouver because of bad weather and will relocate to Miami, Fla. Dornan and Johnson will reportedly spend the next two weeks shooting scenes in Miami before heading over to Spain to film their honeymoon scene from the book "Fifty Shades Freed."
"The downtown Miami skyline looks a lot like downtown Vancouver," the source said adding that mostly outdoor scenes will be filmed there. "Shooting will shift to Tenerife, one of Spain's Canary Islands, in February for the honeymoon scenes."
