Lebron James, without a doubt, is Cleveland Cavaliers star player. However, he has one teammate whom he considers his partner that delivered Cavs to its NBA title- Kyrie Irving.
It has been reported on Sportsrageous that Lebron James had wanted Kyrie Irving re-signed with the Cavs so badly. Irving helps the Cavs, not only James, to draw the defence, making him a good defensive player. Perhaps, that is the most suitable reason Lebron James is banking on to have Kyrie Irving still with the Cavs.
NBA fans as well as non-NBA fans would agree for Lebron James major role in giving the Cavaliers the first NBA championship. It is of no doubt that he has been really competitive and the way he leads his teammates is something extraordinary. This was clearly manifested when they faced the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals.
But what is great with Lebron James is he acknowledges his teammates for their contribution too, not only him, to deliver the Cavs for their first NBA title.
It has been forecast by NBA analysts that Lebron James is likely going to be the next season's MVP with the presence of Kyrie Irving. That could make things easier and for Lebron to bag that award again for the next NBA season.
NBA trade rumors also have it that Lebron James and Kyrie Irving tandem is likened to Kobe Bryant and Shaq tandem of the Los Angeles Lakers. Moreover, some even compared the powerful duo to Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen tandem of the Chicago Bulls. Despite of his success and his greatness, Lebron James is not that contented yet, together with Kyrie Irving and the Cavs.
Lebron James shared to Cleveland that they are not still satisfied with their performance the last season. However, he recognized the great accomplishment they had which according to him, is already a great feat not only for the Cleveland Cavaliers but to the whole northeast Ohio as well.
If Kyrie Irving still will re-sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers, will they deliver the Cavs to another NBA title through the leadership of Lebron James? Stay tuned for more NBA trade rumors and updates.
