[Video] HTC 11 likely out early 2017: Leaked render reveals dual edge display, Snapdragon 830 processor and 6GB RAM

A concept video and render images provide a glimpse of what HTC may have in store for their customers. According several rumours, HTC is expected to release its next-generation smartphone to succeed the HTC 10 in early next year.

In the past Samsung has ruled the Android smartphone kingdom for the last couple of years by introducing devices with bleeding-edge specs. Samsung always prefer the premium construction of glass and metal. And at this time the company is handling its defective Galaxy Note 7 that will affect the smartphone maker and its future devices. The features listed in the video shows that the HTC 11 concept is equipped with a 5.5-inch Quad HD Dual Edge Display. The device is coming buttonless and with waterproof aluminium case.

The video also state the HTC 11 will be having dual-stereo speakers. It is also likely be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 processor that is expected to also power the Samsung Galaxy S8 which is about to launch. The features of latest flagship will also include 6 GB of RAM.

The dual curved edge handset, with a metal slab of a body will be having a back camera is very discrete and a fingerprint scanner, following the HTC Ocean concept.

Device is rumoured to come with a 12 MP main shooter and an 8 MP secondary. This model has a contextual touch sensitive frame that will let you change volume simply by touch.

According to several reports, the HTC 11 smartphone will also have DualBand, WiFi and WiFi Hotspot, BDS, Beidou, GLONASS, Infrared, Bluetooth v4.3 and the reversible USB Type-C connector. The high end flagship will be able to run heavy-duty apps and features without hassle.

There are a number of price rumours spreading on the internet but the price point of the 2017 HTC flagship should hover at about $900 in the global market, so users can expect it up to $750-800, reports TechTimes.

The HTC 11 handset is expected to release in early 2017 that will be a direct competition with the Samsung, that will release the Galaxy S8 likely at the same time.
