As per Alex Kipman, a technical employee at Windows and Devices Group, around 80 Hololens are now available in the Windows Store ever since it debuted in the market, along with its pre-order versions.
"Since our January 2015 debut, our team has been hard at work empowering developers and organizations to bring the vision of mixed reality to life. It's been fascinating to see what has been created by our commercial partners and the team remains in awe of the way developers are using Microsoft HoloLens. Over 80 exclusive mixed reality apps are now available in the Windows Store," Kipman said in an online blog.
More from Kipman
"I couldn't be prouder that Windows is leading the charge through the innovation of our clients and customers. Next year will feature Windows 10 PC users experiencing virtual and augmented reality by using Microsoft's HoloLens.
A Windows 10 update will set for release in 2017 and will give PCs the capacity to run the Windows Holographic Shell, which is Microsoft's lone platform for VR, augmented reality and mixed reality."
People are hyped about this new piece of technology and it will only take time that it will finally be upon interested users soon. But if one truly can't wait, they definitely pre-order right at this very moment.
