Users blocked from accessing their Twitter accounts on the site seem to not even load properly. There have not been any update with regards to the reason for this worldwide outage. Some users even speculate that it is due to an effort made by hackers all over the world to take hold of Twitter. It has also been predicted that the social media platform being down is linked to a series of DDoS attacks as hackers initiated a major cyber-attack against some of the biggest websites in a global scale.

The most recent update that was recorded just now was a message from the Twitter Support team that says: "The earlier issues have resurfaced & some people may still be having trouble accessing Twitter. We're working on it!" A lot of users believe that the management at Twitter is actually trying to sort out the issues relating to a number of DDoS attack that has been launched against their well-managed DNS network.
Most users' concerns are all about being unable to access Twitter from both the internet and the mobile app, and it appears like the problem is a global one in which Twitter is currently trying to fix without much issue going out of hand. People are getting concerned with the state of Twitter. Some even believe that the hackers have managed to break through Twitter and ultimately shut the site down for good.

But after a span of two hours, a new update has been issued, announcing that Twitter is now accessible, following what had been a huge DDoS attack on the social media company's networks. According to a recently-released update from the Twitter management, "We have begun monitoring a series of DDoS attacks against our Networks. Our Engineers are continuing to work on mitigating this issue."
