Beyoncé and Jay Z's daughter Blue Ivy turned 2-years-old today (Jan. 7) and while neither parent has yet to publicly wish the toddler a happy birthday chances are they are definitely going to celebrate in a pretty lavish way.
Last year, when Blue turned a year old, the couple reportedly spent $200,000 on her birthday celebrations. According to The Sun (via Huffington Post), Blue received a ton of gifts including a $80,000 diamond-encrusted Barbie doll. The doll is said to have 160 diamond gems as well as gold and white jewelry.
Reportedly, Bey shelled out $95,000 for pink and white roses for the party, $2,400 for the birthday cake and $30,000 for party favors for the guests which included jewelry, playhouses, princess costumes and toys for the children and concert tickets for the adults.
"Nothing's been too big or expensive for their little princess," a source told The Sun. "They wanted her first birthday to set the tone for the rest of her life. They work hard for their money and the first thing they want to spend it on is their baby girl."
The "XO" singer is always gushing about her baby girl. She uploads tons of pictures to her Tumblr page of baby Blue and even included her in the new song "Blue" from her album "Beyoncé." In an interview with ABC last year, the Queen B opened up about how her daughter is her number one priority.
"I just want to make sure that she can have a healthy, safe, normal life... in the back of my mind, she's my priority," Beyoncé said. "And life is completely different now. Si I'm - I feel really, really, just lucky that I can still do what I love, and now have a way bigger meaning. And that's to be her mother."
Bey and Jay haven't revealed how they will be celebrating Blue Ivy's birthday this year but whatever they do, we're sure it'll be amazing.
