Brad Pitt in trouble! New Accusations Surface; Custody Battle to Get Murkier

Fans of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are yet to recover from their divorce but it looks like the split is going to get messier. Pitt is said to be facing trouble as the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services has extended its investigation in the case that involved an alleged altercation between him and his teenage son Maddox.

The investigation did not close on schedule as new evidence and fresh accusations have come up in the case, reports Celeb Dirty Laundry. These accusations involve direct interactions between Jolie and Pitt and it is said that they were witnessed by one or more of their kids. It also hints at some serious fight between Maddox and Pitt on the flight of a private plane that they had taken several weeks ago from Europe to Los Angeles.

The alleged fight seems more of a possibility because of DCFS extension in the case. However, there are also chances of Jolie playing with the emotions of her son and setting him up against his ex-husband. She has already received temporary custody of the six children but it is still not clear if she would remain the sole custodian in future as well. Pitt is fighting hard for the kids and wants to be with them.

Meanwhile, it has come to light that the decision of DCFS will not affect the divorce case of Jolie and Pitt, claims E! News. It would not have any impact on the custody agreement of the kids, as it will be decided in the family court. As of now, the kids are with Jolie and Pitt has visited them twice since the filing of the divorce case.

However, insiders say that Maddox was not present during these meetings as he is mad at his dad. It was only during last week that they met each other face-to-face during a counseling session with a therapist and it is said that a lot of work needs to be done on their relationship.

It may be mentioned here that rumors of Pitt's substance abuse and infidelity have also been reported to be the reasons that led Jolie to file for divorce.
