Earlier this year, Bethesda announced a special edition of Skyrim, which is pretty much a remastered version of the game.
Bethesda also added that the game is going to be released on Oct. 28. For those wondering when the game would become playable, Bethesda has recently revealed the unlock times.
According to the gaming company, "Skyrim Remastered" will be unlocked and will become playable starting Oct. 27 at exactly 5PM PT, or 8PM ET; Oct. 28 1 A.M. British time 2 A.M. on Central European Time, 11 A.M. Australian Eastern Time, 1 P.M. New Zealand Time, and 2PM Japan Time.

Keep in mind that those specific times are for PC gamers. If you are playing Skyrim on a PC, those are going to be the times that you can look forward to.
As for the console gamers such as PS4 and Xbox players, Bethesda has announced that Skyrim Special Edition will be unlocked at exactly 12 A.M. local times throughout the European region, 12 Midnight ET for North America, and 2 P.M. Japan time.

According to Bethesda, the game will also be available for pre-order and pre-loading. So if you just can't seem to wait for the official unlock times, then you might want to start pre-ordering as early as today. You can save your most precious time by pre-ordering so you can unlock the game ahead of everybody else. Keep in mind that you, first, need to specify whether you are going to play Skyrim Special Edition on PC or Console.

Pre-loading times were also given and has already begun for Xbox One. As for the PS4s, on the other hand, Pre-loading for North America is expected to kick in at midnight ET on October 26, as well with European regions starting at midnight local time on the same day. For Steam players, they will have their games unlocked during the global release times specified above.
