Release date of Tesla Model 3 resets anew; new car to hit market in 2018

Clients and buyers, who recently reserved a Tesla Model 3 vehicle, will have to wait for a couple more years before they can get their hands on Tesla's newest car addition. No less than Chief Executive Elon Musk has stated the delivery delay on Twitter.

The makers of hybrid cars announced last March that the Model 3 is slated for release in 2017. However, around that time, the company is already swamped with 400,000 reservations.

New orders for the electric vehicles will come out in 2018. Musk has confirmed this, dropping a note that the primary year of production is already sold out.

The market for electric cars is drumming with excitement considering the fact that Tesla's new product is the most affordable unit to be manufactured. Other than that, the vehicle introduces a mainstream appeal.

What attracted people to the new model is its $35,000 price tag. For a sophisticated electric vehicle, it is simply reasonable or modest enough.

However, according to Electrek, additional fees will be added once the buyer opts to include new digital configurations.

Smaller than the Model S, Tesla's upcoming flagship has a few distinct designs. Up front, the car's face is flat and the grille has been abandoned. A second storage area emerges under the bonnet when the glass roof is extended from the windshield bottom and into the bended rear end.

Although details about the Model 3 interior are very limited, it has been leaked that a 15-inch horizontal monitor has been installed in the middle. To sum it up, Musk tweets that being inside the electric vehicle feels like sitting on a spaceship.

The CEO also hinted that the new brand is equipped with a full Level 5 autonomous driving system. Judging from the clutter-free space, self-driving hardware is probably installed.

In addition, the Model 3 is capable of running at least 215 miles on a single charge.
