Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani want to have a baby girl; couple consider adoption or IVF

The moment they announced they were dating, musician couple Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton sparked new excitement for their fans. Rumor has it that the couple could be marrying soon and the couple is planning to have a baby girl in the future.

According to Life & Style, the "Misery" singer and the country rocker are reportedly going to do whatever it takes to have a baby girl. The source claimed that aside from talking about adoption, the couple are also considering In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) to add a baby girl to their family.

Stefani already has three sons - Kingston (10), Zuma (8), and Apollo (2) - from her former husband, English musician and actor, Gavin Rossdale.

The source added that an insider has revealed that Stefani hired veteran doctors that can help her on having a baby as the couple explore all options, including surrogates. The insider added that no matter what, the 47-year-old singer wants the baby to be Shelton's and hers together. The source also pointed out that Stefani she is more than ready for this phase in their relationship.

The Hollywood Gossip reported that a source had stated that the couple are also up for adoption, adding that they should have a toddler or a baby by the end of next year.

This rumor came after the Shelton and Stefani are reportedly planning to get hitched on December this year. It has also been reported that the wedding may take place at Shelton's place in Oklahoma.

It can be recalled that the two lovebirds had started to publicize their relationship on September last year. They were both judges of the NBC's reality competition show, The Voice, when the two singers eventually fell in love on set. They were both recently divorced that time, Shelton with fellow country singer, Miranda Lambert, and Stefani with 'Bush' lead singer, Gavin Rossdale.
