Here comes a pre-release bonanza for fans of The Sims 4: City Living. The game developer, EA has released an interactive map of San Myshuno and now players can get a complete look of the neighborhoods and also examine them before moving in. What is more, the game may be VR compatible.
The map allows players to review the neighborhoods and get a detailed description of individual lots before they decide to move in and this is really great news for fans looking forward to The Sims 4: City Living DLC. Even otherwise, the interactive map is a delight to examine for it gives a tour of the biggest world and spells good news for house buyers as well, reports iTech Post. One can find reviews and buy properties accordingly.
Ever since the interactive map made it to the fans' circles, rumors of Sims 4 moving into the domain of VR (virtual reality) have also started doing the rounds. There are talks that EA is thinking of taking the life simulation game in the virtual reality world and integrating some VR features in the game, reports GameNGuide. Though no official announcement has been made, speculations are rife.
However, not all opinions are in favor of VR. Some analysts feel that it would not receive a good response from players as The Sims 4 was not marketed as a VR title from the outset. Therefore, many think that EA would wait until the next installment before it decides to take this route.
As for now, no more teasers are expected in the coming times, save the launch trailer. Also, the title, as well as its DLCs, are only available in PC. Previous reports also suggest Pets and Seasons in the expansion. A few days back, the Reddit post of a Sims developer had sparked theories about the two and since a request has also been made in 2014, it looks like there might be more reasons to expect some more good news.
It may be mentioned here that The Sims 4: City Living is releasing on Nov. 1.
