Will the fans of "Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales" see Jack Sparrow finally married?
In the previous Pirates movie, On Stranger Tides, Johnny Depp's character did fall in love with Angelica (Penelope Cruz), who took her vow of celibacy in a Spanish convent until Jack Sparrow takes her virtue. But they never got married.
However, there are some indications that Jack Sparrow will have other love interest in Carina (Kaya Scodelario) in Pirates 5. She is a strong woman, an educated astronomer who is fighting for the right for women to study in a university. At the time, women are not able to do so. If the two set off on an adventure, she knows how to use the stars as a map.
According to Scodelario, Carina Smyth bumps into Jack Sparrow in "Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales." She is looking for the Trident of Poseidon as well and holds a diary with clues. Depp's character, of course, decides to mess everything up.
If you remember the previous Pirates movies, there were some flirting between Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth Swann (Kiera Knightley). She was portrayed as an edgy and having-her-own-mind character, something that Captain Sparrow was attracted to.

Things are complicated because Depp's character knows that Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) is in love with Carina. That is the reason why he did not obviously make an official move on her. Since Angelica also shows the same fire that Swann has, it's a tough choice for him.
All three women in the Pirates movies feature a strong character. So, it looks like it will take a woman to hold Jack Sparrow down. Since Johnny Depp hinted that Pirates of the Caribbean 5 will be the last movie, many people wonder if Sparrow is finally going to settle down. Maybe everybody gets the happy ending they deserve this time around.
Let's wait May 26, 2017, when the Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales will hit the theaters and see what is going to happen.
