Android Nougat 7.0 Update for OnePlus, Xiaomi and Huawei smartphones: When can you download?

The latest operating system for Android mobile environment is out with the latest release of Nougat OS v7.0 Google's own flagship devices for the current year called the "Pixel" line-up from the following year is already equipped with their latest version v7.1 which for the moment is the only traditional device with the 7.1 update.

It's quite known that a x.1 update is almost a combination of some bug fixes and stability issues. Meanwhile on the other hand, the previous Nexus devices are in-line waiting for their turn for Google to roll out subsequent OTA updates.

However, Google Nexus devices 6P and 5X have already been into about eight months of developer edition Nougat update. While phones Nexus 5 and Nexus 4 alongside Nexus 7 are out of the eighteen month update, they won't be in to the latest secured android operating system.

Coming to Chinese manufacturers like OnePlus and Xiaomi along with Huawei, it was previously reported that OnePlus and Xiaomi were too late for the party for all previous operating systems.

Even though they are behind some of the world's best smartphones, they're invariably slow adopters to new operating systems, OnePlus in their recent Reddit AMA have now revealed that they are already working on a ROM based on Nougat. If everything goes according to plan the OnePlus 3 should receive a 7.0 update before the end of the year followed an update to the OnePlus 2 a month later. It's still unclear whether the OnePlus X is also eligible for one. However, curious users still have Cyanogenmod to thank them for.

Taking note of their rivals or let's just say competitors for now, we thought Xiaomi wouldn't really bring out one until early 2017. Xiaomi for the moment are still maintaining their silence regarding the same but however it's now pretty clear that the latest flagship of Xiaomi being the Mi Mix, is already on the previous operating system Marshmallow (which has a stunning 91.6% screen ratio in a 6.4-inch display) will probably be the first in line from Xiaomi alongside the Mi 5 and Mi 5s. No one at the moment are clear about whether Xiaomi would be quick enough to bring the latest nougat based ROMs for their smart phones. It would be too soon to call the shots on this one since Xiaomi didn't even care to reveal what version of Android their Mi Note 2 was equipped with.
