Cameras are one of the primary factors while manufacturing a smartphone these days. While it's widely evident worldwide that the craze of clicking a 'selfie' is the most addictive habits among the new generation, it makes it an obvious point for the smartphone manufacturer to keep all these in mind.
OnePlus 3T is yet to see its release by the year-end, and it would be potentially one of the most promising smartphones arriving before Christmas.
However, there's Sony, on one hand, bringing out one of their flagship smart phones this month. The Sony XZ is powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset. Coming to the phone specifications for general user information, both phones are now powered by snapdragon chips.
Oneplus 3T has Snapdragon 821 and also 6GB of RAM. OnePlus is poised to release one of the best and powerful smart phones which is aimed at serving smooth everyday performance.
In terms of cameras, the Sony XZ comes with a 23MP primary camera which is using Sony's custom IX300 imaging sensor. A 13MP front-facing 'selfie?' camera is also seen, according to PhoneArena
Regarding benchmarks, the OnePlus 3T clocks in about 145k benchmark scores while the XZ scores about 146k proving the fact that both of the phones are aimed at the same price segment with the same usage intentions.
The click capturing time is faster in OnePlus 3T than the XZ by a very narrow margin. It's very challenging to decide a winner among the two due to the fact that the camera details in the Sony smartphone is amazing and crisp.
Will a better battery in the OnePlus 3T being 3000mAh give the edge over everything? It might not be the case. But considering the fact that Sony XZ offers expandable storage, this would serve a better purpose if used to shoot a lot of images on the phone and constantly craving for more storage.
