The NFL 2016 trade deadline was scheduled 4 p.m. on Nov. 1 and the league has completed deals while fans await if the other trade rumors will actually happen before the clock strikes on Tuesday afternoon.
According to usatoday.com, some of the teams in the league have already completed their trade deals. The New England Patriots traded Jamie Collins for a draft pick to Cleveland Browns. Bill Belichick of the Patriots surprised the fans by trading the Pro Bowl linebacker. It can be recalled that Collins is already toward his final year of contract.
Another completed NFL trade deal is CB Johnthan Banks of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to Detroit Lions in a seventh-round draft pick. Johnthan Banks is a 2013 draft pick and Tampa Bay acquired him with Mike Smith in the defense.
Meanwhile, fans are still waiting for other NFL trade rumors to take place as the results of the deal will also figure the future of the league.
The Giants are considering if they would commit to the Joe Thomas sweepstakes while the New York Jets are also thinking of entering deals for NFL star players like Sheldon Richardson and Brandon Marshall.
Hue Jackson, Browns coach shared that he is not really interested in trading All-Pro offensive tackle Joe Thomas. The 49ers also denied the trade rumor that involves their players particularly, Joe Staley and added that he will not be traded before the deadline.
Then Percy Harvin, who already retired, came out and re-signed with the Bills. In order to pave room for Percy Harvin, the team decided to have Aaron Williams on injured reserve.
The Dallas Cowboys, on the other hand, are eyeing for Cam Wake, Dolphins defensive end as reported by Sports Illustrated. Further, the team is also interested to get Sheldon Richardson but the New York Jets are also actively shopping for him.
It seems like there are already several teams going for the NFC but only a NFL trade can separate a contender team from just the aspirant team.
