Shia LaBeouf Hit With Cease & Desist Letter By Writer Daniel Clowes: 'Your Client Is Seriously Out of Control" (READ IT)

Shia LaBeouf won't let his plagiarism scandal die, but writer Daniel Clowes has officially sent a cease and desist letter to stop the madness.

Clowes has yet to formally file a lawsuit against LaBeouf for ripping of his work in the short film "HowardCantour.com", which has been taken down since the scandal surfaced in December 2013.

The final straw for Clowes was when LaBeouf tweeted a photo of his storyboard "Daniel Boring", which was reportedly a reference to the writer's work titled "David Boring". The letter was sent to LaBeouf's attorney, Brian Wolf.

"No analysis is needed to prove that Mr. LaBeouf's most recent transgressions violate Mr. Clowes' rights under the law," the letter reads.

Clowe's lawyer goes on to call LaBeouf's behavior "outrageous," referring to the skywriter apology he posted on Jan 1.

"Brian, your client is seriously out of control," the letter continues. "He must stop his improper and outlandish directed at Mr. Clowes, and your client must take all necessary and appropriate steps to redress his wrongs."

It is unclear if Clowes will seek legal action against LaBeouf's blatant plagiarism of his work, but the writer's editor Eric Reynolds released an email statement to BuzzFeed stating he did not accept the actor's apology in December.

"His apology is a non-apology, absolving himself of the fact that he actively misled, at best, and lied, at worst, about the genesis of the film," Reynolds wrote. "No one 'assumes' authorship for no reason. He implied authorship in the film credits itself, and has gone even further in interviews. He clearly doesn't get it, and that's disturbing. I'm not sure if it's more disturbing that he plagiarized, or that he could rationalize it enough to think it was OK and that he might actually get away with it."
