Brad Pitt Angelina Jolie Divorce Update: Reports and Witnesses of an Abusive and Aggressive Jolie Surfaces; Brad Pitt, Kids Still Separated

The dust around Brad Pitt and Angeline Jolie's divorce refuses to settle down and now it is being said that it was Pitt's violence towards the kids that caused Jolie to file for divorce. In fact, she is also said to be facing abuse claims as she issued threats to her husband.

The rumors of differences between the couple being the reason for their divorce has died a natural death as it has come out that violence and abuse were the real causes that led to the divorce of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, reports Inquisitr. In the early weeks of October, it came to light that Pitt had become violent towards his eldest son Maddox during a flight.

Sources claim that the fight erupted aboard their private jet and Pitt was drunk at that time. There was a verbal altercation between Pitt and Maddox. However, there was no physical fight. A crew member said that there was tension but Pitt did not harm his teenage son.

The former security advisor of the ex-couple, Kris Herzog has also said that Pitt could never harm his kids because if he did, Jolie would beat him to death. He made it very clear that there was no indication of Pitt being abusive and the only time he saw the actor turning aggressive was during a fight with Jolie when he refused to give up his partying ways.

Recently, it has come to light that Jolie had issued verbal threats to Pitt and this has led Department of Child and Family Services to include her in their investigation as well. However, it is not clear if she is being questioned for being abusive or for facing abuse at the hands of her estranged husband.

Notably, a lot of reports had surfaced earlier about Pitt being abusive towards his wife. He was also said to be having an affair with his co-star Marion Cotillard but after Cotillard issued a statement on Instagram, it became clear that the troubles of the golden couple of Hollywood lay somewhere else.
