A soon to be released science fiction thriller "Life", which stars Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal, will feature the actors battling an alien creature in their latest space-themed sci-fi film.
The astronauts, who are aboard the space station, stumble upon an organism in space. The crew goes on to study the organism, the first discovery of life beyond Earth, reports space.com.
Rebecca Ferguson co-stars with Reynolds and Gyllenhaal, reports radiotimes.
Space.com reports that the trailer was released just last week, and gives out a glimpse of the pandemonium that ensues after the astronauts discover the alien organism.
The trailer first shows a bunch of astronauts in a space station, but they discover the alien, and put it in a compartment box. The narration in the background tells how humans have the real possibility of discovering life beyond earth in our lifetimes and how the colonizers have usually been terrible with the colonies.
But then the trailer takes a twist when an astronaut who puts his hand in the compartment starts writhing in pain, and scenes of various stages of panic are shown.
The harmless alien would turn on the entire ship and put the astronauts, who are shown to be panicking, at risk. It is clear that these aliens are not ready to be tampered with.
Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal are two of the most talked about actors in Hollywood. Ryan Reynolds is a Canadian actor and producer, who is famous for his role in Deadpool.
According to Radiotimes, the movie is written by Deadpool duo Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese and is directed by Daniel Espinosa.
