Xiaomi Mi Note 2, Mi Mix hit record-breaking sell out

Xiaomi launched its latest flagship smartphone Mi Note 2 with its first batch of units were sold out to pre-registered buyers in China in record-breaking 50 seconds.

According to Techtimes, the launch of Mi Note 2 couldn't have been done at a better time. With Samsung Note 7 disappointing customers on exploding batteries, many turned towards feature packed Xiaomi.

Listing out the features, GSMarena stated that Mi Note 2 has a 5.7-inch, curved AMOLED screen.

It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 and has a quad core CPU. Furthermore, the device sports 6 GB of RAM and as much as 128 GB of internal storage. A variant with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage is also available. It does not support memory card.

It has a 22.5 MP back camera with dual-LED flash and a 8MP front camera. Under the hood, Mi Note 2 is equipped with a powerful non removable 4070mAh battery.

On the software front, it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Includes 4G LTE with VoLTE support, dual SIM card slot, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB type-c port and GPS (high-precision positioning), as per bgr.in.

The price is expected to set at $177.76 approx.

If you thought that was fast then on Nov 6, Xiaomi beat its own record after selling out the first batch of Redmi Mi Mix in mere 10 seconds during a flash sale in China.

Another feature packed, GSMarena announced that the attractive yet affordable phablet Mi Mix comes with following:

The phablet has a 6.4" screen with a resolution of 1080*2040 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 and has a quad core CPU.

It has two variants- the 4GB RAM, 128 GB Internal memory and a 6GB RAM, 256 GB internal memory. It doesn't have expandable memory.

Bgr.in reports that it includes 4G LTE, VoLTE for HD voice calling, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11ac.

It has USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer, 4,400mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 and run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

The next flash sale for the smartphone will be on Nov. 8.
