The highly anticipated Moto M specs are leaking all over the internet before its announcement on November 8.
The Moto M was codenamed as Kung-Fu, and is going to be the first device from Motorola's new M-series. According to The Android Soul, Moto M specifications were leaked when it appeared for AnTuTu app benchmark test.
The device runs on 2.2GHz MTK Helio P15 processor. It has a 5.5-inch Full HD 1080p 2.5D Super AMOLED display. The android support for Moto M is 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 8MP front camera.
A massive 4GB RAM has been installed in the device for a smooth performance. The internal storage is of 32GB storage and the expandable memory is up to 128GB. Moto M is powered up by a 3050mAh which is sufficient enough. It also has a Fingerprint Sensor in the front of the device.
Moto M sports a metal unibody with a dimension of 153 x 76 x 7.3mm and weighs 177grams. It has Nano size Dual SIM slots. It supports GSM + WCDMA, but no CDMA and LTE connectivity.
Other features include 15W Speaker, Bluetooth 4.1 and FM Radio. The device also includes waterproof capability. Moto M is also said to come in Champagne Gold and Graphite Gray.
According to Playful Droid, despite that the device is anticipated to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, the device can definitely get an upgraded to Android 7.0 Nougat at some future time.
However, it is to be noted that according to reports, Moto M is expected to be available in two variants - one with model number XT-1662, which will be sold only in the Chinese market.
The other one with the model number XT-1663 is for the international market. The international model is expected to sport a 4.6-inch display. The device is said to be powered by a MediaTek MT6750 processor. It will sport a 1.9GHz CPU.
Moto M international will be packed with a 32GB internal memory and a 3GB RAM. The device will have a 16MP main camera and an 8MP front-camera. The price is expected to be around $300.
