Mario Reading is an acknowledged expert on Nostradamus. He claims to have deciphered Nostradamus' predictions long into the future up to the year 7074. He has based his prediction on his ability to date the predictions made by Nostradamus.
Mario Reading's prediction on Hillary Clinton must have sent the Donald Trump camp into a tizzy and the Hillary Clinton's camp into the stratosphere. However, a recent article by Nirdeshini Bagde has come as a breath of fresh air to the Donald Trump camp as she writes that the Nostradamus prediction is a Trump win.
About five hundred years ago, Nostradamus, a French seer, had made a host of predictions in a book entitled 'Les Propheties.' Probably, Nostradamus never imagined his prophecies would be among the most debated subjects throughout the world. The seer's prophecies have created an army of soothsayers who think they can decipher the seer's predictions.
Nostradamus' book has spawned pseudo astrologers akin to the famous or infamous, if you will, astrologers from India who claim to foretell the future.
It is just as well that Nostradamus' predictions are indecipherable. Just imagine the US Presidential elections being determined by a seer's prediction five hundred years ago. There would be no high drama of the high-decibel election process. The US' job market would have gone into a tailspin as scores of people would lose their jobs if no elections were held.
This would also impact India's democracy. The cacophony of the Indian elections must be seen to be believed. Who would want to miss the trials and tribulations of an Indian election?
The world would be better off without the ridiculous delving into Nostradamus' prophecies. It's high time that the debates on Nostradamus ends. For every Nostradamus prophecy there will be a counter prophecy leaving the world without a clue as to the outcome of an event.
No matter who wins the Trump-Clinton fight, Nostradamus should be well and truly buried.
