Angelina Jolie is all out to fight Brad Pitt. Her words over their custody battle are pretty strong - the strongest that she's ever hurled at him so far. She announces that "until he gets his s**t together" she cannot let him have more than monitored visitation.
Last Friday, Brad had filed legal docs to ask for joint custody of their six children. However, Angelina wanted "primary physical custody," with Brad not getting more than visitation, which should be monitored, she said. One Angelina source said this is looking more and more like "War of the Roses redux," according to TMZ.
Brad Pitt had agreed to temporary visits, while the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services probed a confrontation between the two and interactions among the eight members, including the parents and six children - Maddox (15), Pax (12), Zahara (11), Shiloh (ten), and twins Vivienne and Knox (eight).
Even though she would like to resume a "normal" parenting schedule, Angelina wants to fight for sole physical custody till then. She is firm that his substance abuse and anger issues have to be solved.
Obviously, this is one of those cases of "high conflict or high-risk situations," when children can be approached only "in a safe and supervised environment."
Meanwhile, the L.A. County Department. of Children and Family Services is still taking a look at the confrontation between Pitt and his eldest son, Maddox. The decision they arrive at will be totally centred on that relationship.
Currently, Pitt is trying to reach out to 15-year-old Maddox. They had met last October 19, almost 40 days since they last quarrelled. But since then, it has been a lonely time for Pitt.
At that time, Maddox had defended his mother, and had a powerful fight with Pitt. Since then, it's been hands-off for his dad.
