Samsung is expected to begin Android 7.0 Nougat beta roll out for Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge smartphones in the U.S., the U.K, South Korea and China from November 9 and the testing will continue until mid-December. That is when we can expect a final Nougat build.
The program will give beta users the ability to send feedback and suggestions directly to the Samsung and if you're interested in testing out Nougat on your S7 or S7 edge, you have to download the Galaxy Beta Programme app from Galaxy Apps store.
After downloading the app you will be supposed to fill out an application form. Luckily, if you're selected then you will be able to download beta Nougat, reports Android Central.
This beta testing app will be supported in the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge models from T-Mobile, Verizon and Sprint in the U.S. as Sam Mobile reported. Also rumors say that all the unlocked variants of S7 and S7 Edge in the U.K. can receive Nougat beta.
In South Korea, KT, SK Telecom or LG U+ models of Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge can also get installation of Nougat beta from Nov. 9. The support variants of S7 and S7 Edge for Chinese markets are still not been revealed.
Samsung is now expected to start Android 7.0 Nougat update firstly to the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge before making it available to other gadgets like the Galaxy S7 Active, Galaxy S7 Batman edition, Galaxy S7 Olympic edition, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 edge+, Galaxy S6 Active, Galaxy S6 Ironman edition, and Galaxy S6 Active, reports IBT Times.
The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge users will also be getting the new Grace UX along with Android 7.0 Nougat. After mid December the Samsung may release Android 7.1 Nougat for these devices as Phone Arena reported.
