NBA Trade Rumors and News Update: DeMarcus Cousins, Brook Lopez and Nerlen Noel the latest names on the trading block

The NBA trade rumors continue to buzz with the names of players who have been on and off-market. The NBA 2016-17 has already headed to the third week and the latest rumors surround DeMarcus Cousins, Brook Lopez, and Nerlen Noel.

Well, Lopez is making it to the news as inspite of being a good player; he is wasting his talent on a team that is far from being competitive. And, for the fans, it is no surprise as the Cousins has been on and off the news.

Talking about Cousins, the Sacramento Kings have been holding on to him as they do not have any choice, reports Amico Hoops. Executives from the Kings have also stated that "Cousins is worth more than he actually is." And when it comes to trading him, this time it has a 50-50 chance. Notably, the Kings have only won 33 games since Cousins entered the team. Moreover, his dominant personality calls for an even more authoritative person to control him.

Reportedly, with Cousins' contract expiring in 2018, the Kings will have to act now if they decide to trade him.

Coming to Lopez, he is back with a new three-point shot. He is an attractive trade veteran for the Brooklyn Nets as he can be traded for younger players, reports Bleacher Report. However, though the Nets have been wary of trading, but no deal is forthcoming. Moreover, Lopez has been with the team since 2008 and has also overcome obstacles like two-foot injuries that even threatened his career. And, though Lopez has his own worth, the Nets may not get a better bargain in return.

For Noel, who will be returning post-surgery, it seems that he will most likely be auditioning for a new employer. Notably, Toronto Raptors has expressed their interest in Noel, as currently, they have Jared Sillinger's foot injury to deal with.

Now, it remains to be seen which deal turns through and whether the NBA trade rumors turn out to be true.
