Android 7.1 Nougat based CyanogenMod CM 14.1 OS announced for Moto, LG, Huawei, Samsung, OnePlus, Asus devices

CyanogenMod developers, world's most popular custom ROM developers, have been actively working on the Android v7.1 Nougat-based CM14.1 series firmware to select devices.

The developers working on the CM updates based on the latest Android version; Android 7.1 Nougat announces the CyanogenMod 14.1 Nightly Build.

According to the International Business Times, Android v7.1Nougat based CyanogenMod CM 14.1 is a nightly build with some features yet to come. But the custom ROM developer community claims that the install on the devices is safe and has undergone many tests and assurance of no major bugs has been reported.

As per the Gizmo Times, the list of the devices which can install the Android v7.1Nougat based CyanogenMod CM 14.1 version and it is reported that the more smartphones will be added to the list after further developments.

"More devices will be added to the list over the coming weeks and maintainers bring everything up to date, so if you don't see your device listed here just give us a bit of time," Steve Kondik, founder, CyanogenMod community, said in a statement.

As per the report, the founder of Cyanogen, Steve Kondik said, "Bug reports are OK, but please don't file bugs for missing features since this is all a work in progress. Now is a great time to get involved with the project too."

He also added saying that CyanogenMod is returning to its community-driven roots and there are endless ways to help out. As always, more devices will be added to the list over the coming weeks and maintainers bring everything up to date. So, if users don't see their device listed here, they can just give them a little bit of more time.
