‘Quantico’ Season 2 Spoilers: Showrunner Josh Safran Reveals Secrets About Upcoming Episode; Talks About Bloody Death Sequence

"Quantico" Season 2 has begun to gain its momentum. Showrunner, Josh Safran, has recently revealed spoilers about the coming episode that will surely have the viewers hooked to their seats.

"Quantico" Season 2 Episode 6 saw the bloody death of Leigh (played by Helene Yorke). And, while Nimah (played by Yasmine al Massri) is on a con game with the CIA recruits, Alex (played by Priyanka Chopra) is still trapped. Moreover, Lydia (played by Tracy Ifeachor) runs away with the hard drives which contain information that the world leaders wanted to destroy at the G20 Summit, reports TV Guide. The episode also revealed that Owen (Blair Underwood) is in the prison.

"Quantico" show runner Josh Safran has revealed that the season will witness a terrorist invasion and also dropped hints about several thrilling secrets about the upcoming episodes, reports Entertainment Weekly.

While talking about Season 2, Safran clarified Lydia's role and stated that she is not taking sides of terrorists. He revealed that she does not want the terrorists to get those drives. And, she had also pulled an alarm that would lead the terrorists to find Alex.

Coming to Leigh, Safran feels sorry for the viewers who got hooked with Leigh's character, as she was seen only in four episodes. Safran further explained that the use of collar as a death weapon reveals that the terrorist means business.

Talking further about the death sequence, Safran stated that, "I know it's really gory and terrifying, but the only images in my brain are of Helene dancing around in a puddle of her own blood and having the best time in the world."

The next week episode is will deal with a very serious process that CIA recruits have to go through. Safran stated that it will surely be an uncomfortable episode to watch.
