Nintendo unveiled the brand new version of the classic NES console which will take the Japanese multinational consumer electronics and software company back to the glory days, reports Yibada.
"The classic NES is back in a familiar-yet-new form as a mini replica of Nintendo's original home console," Nintendo wrote on its official website .
The little NES system is released in the UK starting today, Nov. 11. Contrasting the original NES console, there is no need to go hunting for an RF port, as the any modern TV doesn't have one anyway.
The mini NES console will work like modern consoles that will do over HDMI. There's one included in the box as soon as once it's plugged in then you will have the video and audio handled.
For the latest console, players do not pull out all their old cartridges and shrink them down as Nintendo has opted to build 30 different games directly into the system.
Nintendo has also confirmed that the games will be playable in three screen modes. The first is "Pixel Perfect," in which every pixel is a perfect square, So, one will be playing the games as crisp as they come and same as they were designed. The other two are retro filters.
You can aslo play the system with a 4:3 output, so they're stretched slightly like the original classic games, and also through the CRT filter mode for the most authentic classic experience possible.
The full list of the games can be found here. But rest assured that plenty of old favourite games have made the cut.
The original "Super Mario Bros" and the "Super Mario Bros 3" are inbuilt in the console. Also, "Donkey Kong," "The Legend of Zelda," "Metroid," "Castlevania," "Pac-Man," and "Final Fantasy" are also coming in the latest NES Console.
You can purchase the latest console from Smyths and online stores like Amazon and Nintendo's own UK store .
The part of the appeal of the Nintendo mini NES is the delightfully low price at only just for £49.99.
