Twitter Account Speaks From Beyond the Grave: 'You Killed Me And Got Away With Murder For 34 Years' (READ TWEETS)

At the age of 14, Bill Comeans was murdered. Thirty-four years later, a Twitter account posts tweets in the first-person voice of Bill, Yahoo News reported.

"34 years ago today, I was murdered. I was 14 and had my entire life to live. My family is still looking for my killer." These are the words of a tweet posted Tuesday on an unusual account with the handle @BillComeans.

Even though the crime was never solved, his family has not given up hope of finding justice. According to Yahoo News, in an unusual move intended to reignite interest in the cold case, Bill's sister, Kathleen Comeans, created a Twitter account written in the first-person voice of Bill. The account is part of an effort by the family of Comeans to try and find new leads that could help solve the cold case.

"I was sitting there thinking, what else can be done? What haven't I tried?" Comeans, who was 9 years old when her brother was found dead, told WBNS-TV. "I don't want him to be forgotten,

"Whoever murdered him is out there, so somebody knows something, and Bill's got a story to tell, and we'll use whatever means to tell it," he said.

Bill died on Jan. 7, 1980, near the family home in West Columbus, Ohio, reports 10TV.com.

"I can remember the night that we found out, the same feelings are there. He's physically not here, but he's still with us," she said. "His memories are still with us," she told 10TV.com.

According to WBNS, Bill was found by his father only a block from his family's Columbus home. He had been strangled with his own scarf and died at a local hospital. According to the Blaze, here are a few more tweets from the family-run Twitter account that is speaking with Bill's voice from beyond the grave:

"Whoever murdered him is out there, so somebody knows something, and Bill's got a story to tell, and we'll use whatever means to tell it," Comeans told 10TV.com.

Comeans also created a memorial for her brother on Facebook and posted a video tribute for him on YouTube:

Though Franklin County Sheriff's Department told WBNS it has no new leads on the case, last year detectives began the process of conducting DNA analysis of a knife found near Bill's body, the Blaze reported.
