NASA’s 15 days of darkness start tomorrow: What to expect?

NASA's 15 days of darkness hoax is here again. In 2015, it was rumored that there will be 15 days of complete darkness in November, starting Nov. 15 to Nov. 29.

In 2016 again, the same rumors surfaced, this time saying that NASA itself has confirmed that people on Earth will be able to experience and witness 15 days of total darkness in November. However, this report is now being regarded as a complete hoax.

If NASA's 15 days of darkness is true, then there will be total blackout around the world starting tomorrow. The apocalyptic darkness will persist for a continuous period of 15 days, leaving everything at a standstill.

Despite several reports, NASA later confirmed that there will be no 15 days of darkness in 2016 and that all such reports are hoax. According to Morning News USA, the rumor was initiated by a website called theboredmind.com and NASA has cleared that there is not even the slightest possibility that this may happen in over 1 million years.

Hence, there will be no 15 days of total darkness in November 2016. However, there will just be an astronomical phenomenon, that is, parallelism between Jupiter and Venus.

According to Daily Star, the world would not be affected at all by this astronomical phenomenon. The only affected regions would be the polar caps. This is the reason why people around the world should not be alarmed as they would not be experiencing any form of darkness that would impact their daily life and activities.

Meanwhile, NASA has officially declared that the source from which the rumors started to spread is not an official news source. The American space agency has cleared that the news is totally fake and has also advised people not to pay any heed to such a hoax.

Meanwhile, people will get to see an unusually large supermoon on Nov. 14, Monday. According to scientists, the moon will appear this big only after a century or so.
