The popular couple Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani is finally moving towards an official union as their marriage date has been finalized. However, the interesting thing is that Shelton's ex-wife Miranda Lambert might also tie the knot with her boyfriend around the same time.
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani will tie the knot next year on May 5, reports Inquisitr. The 40-year-old country singer and the 47-year-old rock star have worked out the details of their second wedding and it will be conducted at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Beverly Hills. According to sources, the two discussed at length about the arrangements and it was not a smooth sailing at all.
They had their fair share of differences as Stefani wanted to have a gala celebration but Shelton was in favor of a low-key function in Tennessee or somewhere in Oklahoma. Eventually, they agreed and Shelton did not pressurize her too much. Stefani also listened to her would-be husband and they mutually decided to curtail the guest list from 700 to 400.
Speaking of guests, their respective exes i.e. Miranda Lambert and Gavin Rossdale are also said to be on the list of invitees, claims Hollywood Life. Even Lambert's boyfriend Anderson East is there but it looks like she is not very interested in attending the wedding. Insiders claim that she stormed out of the room when she learned about the invitation.
Well, Lambert might have moved on after her divorce with Shelton but she is not ready to be friends with him. What is more, she is planning to tie the knot next year and there are high chances that it might coincide with Stefani and Shelton's wedding. East has been very supportive of her and openly expressed his feelings on her birthday when he shared a picture of the two on Instagram and sent her a sweet message.
It is worth mentioning here that Lambert has expressed her desire to marry again and have kids soon. As for East, he also wants the same and thus, it might not be a surprise if exes Shelton and Lambert remarry at the same time in 2017.
