Microsoft Surface Book 2 packed with Surface Pen, 3D graphics, Intel's Kaby lake chip; Launch in early 2017

Microsoft Surface Book 2 is the highly anticipated device from the tech giant. Microsoft's next powerful device was expected earlier to be launched in the last month's event. But enthusiasts were disappointed as the 2-in-1 hybrid computer was not seen at all.

Now, the current report indicates that the Microsoft Surface Book 2 is expected to arrive in the early 2017 into the tech market. It is reported that the Microsoft is pushing the launch date because of the upcoming feature redesign and the Intel's Kaby Lake release.

Microsoft is reported to have changed the new Surface Book 2 pertaining to the physical appearance, especially the dynamic fulcrum hinge which gathered negative reviews from the previous model.

Microsoft Surface Book 2 is expected to have better battery performance as the new device will be expected to be powered with Intel's new Kaby lake processor. The battery performance of the Surface Book 2 is expected to be better than its previous model, as it was powered by Intel Core i7.

According to CNET, the report describes the specs and features with which the new Microsoft Surface Book 2 is expected to arrive. Microsoft Surface Book 2 is expected to have 13.5 inch Pixel Sense display with a capability of delivering a crisp 4K resolution while playback of 4K video and 3D graphics should be a much smoother experience.

Microsoft Surface Book 2 is also expected to come with a long running 16 hours powerful battery, Intel's new Kaby Lake processor with new performance and efficiency packed with it, two ports for USB 3.0, SD Card reader in full size, Mini Display port and headphone jack.

The Kaby Lake processor will double up the graphic performance as it is built on a 14-nanometer technology, which is said to boost the performance of chips by 12 percent compared to the Skylake. It will also add another fan to support GeForce GTX 965M video output.

Microsoft Surface Book 2 is also rumored to come with highly acclaimed Surface Pen. With that, Microsoft is said to include a built-in dock that will power up and recharge the additional gadget. This change is pivotal for the franchise, as the Surface Pen is one of the device's selling points.
