Reality star Kim Kardashian has been warned by her doctors that she could suffer from complications if she gets pregnant again.
On the Sunday's episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," Kim's mother, Kris Jenner said that she could bleed to death if she tries to give birth again.
Kim who has a three-year-old daughter North and an 11-month-old son Saint admitted that she would love to have another child to their family. However, Kim's doctor, Paul Crane, revealed that it wouldn't be safe for her as she already suffered from complications in her first two pregnancies.
Kim has explored the idea of surrogacy after meeting with her two doctors, who told her that it is not already safe for her to get pregnant again. She had experienced difficulties in her first two pregnancies and having another baby would be considered as "high-risk pregnancy."
"Lately I've thought I would love to have another baby maybe. But like I had two tough pregnancies and tough deliveries so getting pregnant again it's something that does concern me," Kim said on the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" episode.
According to Doctor Crane, Kim has suffered from toxemia - toxins in the blood caused by infection. She had also endured a very traumatic labor when she had North and Saint. These highlighted the possible complications if she ever plans to have another baby in the future.
"Here's what I think, your pregnancies, you had toxemia, you had a retained placenta, very traumatic, we're always worried about the next serious complication. I think the potential fear of the whole situation is legitimate," Doctor Crane said.
After Kim's consultation with her two doctors, she visited a fertility specialist doctor Huang to discuss the possibility of a gestational surrogate. However, the reality star has revealed that she is scared of having a surrogate because she has still no idea if she will love the baby as much as her two children.
