A flaming flying object has been taped traveling across the sky above Lima, Peru. The residents were surprised as they saw an orange light zipped across the dark skies. The video reportedly lasts a minute and was put out by Peruvian media.
The mirror reported that other South American countries too witnessed such a sight, from the highlands to the southeast of Lima, to the area around the Amazon rainforests.
The Express added that the UFO left a trail of light behind it, as the object hurtled across the sky at dusk. Peruvian news website Canaln put out the footage first. The object reportedly disappeared behind the trees in the clip.
Popular UFO blogger Scott Waring reportedly wrote that a UFO was sighted over Lima, Peru this week, and while it passes, he said he could see a street light suddenly turn on. Hundreds of UFO reports suggest electrical problems when a UFO is close by.
According to Express, the theory put forward is that the burning object could be high altitude balloons, used by Google's project Loon, which enhances internet access in remote areas. These balloons reportedly contain lights and hover around Earth.
The mirror reports that there are a number of people who actually believe that Peru is a stop off for aliens since they have so many ancient sites, which includes Machu Picchu citadel in the Andes Mountains.
Larry Maxwell reportedly said on UFOsightingsdaily.com that he would have believed it more if that particular street light in the picture switched on, and there is a strong chance that the light automatically turns on at dusk.
There is a lot of speculation that UFO's and South America is closely linked, because it is believed that the ancient civilizations of Latin America have all been visited by aliens, because of various things that are believed to be evidences.
