WWE rumors indicating Kurt Angle's return to the big screen have been circulating on the internet for quite some time now. It is now rumored that the player is slated to make a return as an exclusive character for WWE 2K18, indicating that he will surely return back in 2017.
The latest WWE rumors claim that the 47-year-old superstar has been preparing for a return to that there can be a closure. According to Four3Four, he is in talks with Triple H and Vince McMahon since quite some time now for a comeback.
The publication further claims that every time during an interview, it seemed like it is just a matter of time for Angle to return to WWE. If that happens soon, the superstar will be making an appearance on WWE for the first time in more than a decade now.
It has also been reported that Angle is the "frontrunner to become the pre-order exclusive character for WWE 2K18." Several superstars have promoted video games in the past and specially appeared on WWE, including Bill Goldberg and Ultimate Warrior.
Meanwhile, the Inquisitr reports that Angle could be one of the superstars returning back to WWE in 2017's "Royal Rumble." It is the next big WWE event scheduled to take place in the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
Angle's return is expected to attract a huge crowd of fans, with a return match on the grand stage becoming a big hit and helping with filling all the vacant seats in Orlando. However, there is just one thing that WWE organizers may be worried about.
Reports released earlier in 2016 claimed that McMahon is a bit worried about Angle's past addiction. However, the superstar has remained clean for last three years, so there are huge chances that he may make a comeback in next year's "Royal Rumble."
None of these rumors have been confirmed by WWE officials. However, considering the WWE rating that have been declining since quite some time now, Angle's comeback to the big picture will surely give a boost to its lost popularity.
