A mysterious flying orb in the sky of Lima, Peru sent hundreds of people into speculating aliens are trying to contact Earth.
An onlooker took a video of the orb, footage of which was first shown on Peruvian news website Canaln.
Further reports of spotting the UFO in highlands areas and across the Amazon rainforest also started coming in, reports Express. In the video clip, the object disappeared behind the trees. See the video clip here.
According to UFO blogger Scott C waring, "A UFO was recorded over Lima, Peru this week and in the recording we see a street light suddenly light up.Coincidence? Probably not, since hundreds of UFO reports report electrical problems when the UFO was near. This is important evidence that this object was a UFO."
As per iTech Post, Peruvians have claimed to spot UFOs many times in the past.
One strange phenomenon was recorded by security cameras in August 2016 wherein a mysterious entity was seen both walking and floating over the ground at night in Peru. Night workers at the gas station, near which this video was recorded, claimed that they have seen the alien.
No one knows for sure, but UFO and alien theorists believe that Peru's ancient structures such as the Machu Picchu citadel in the Andes Mountains are likely to attract extra-terrestrial beings to Earth.
However, others are not satisfied with UFO claims. Skeptics claim that the unidentified orb which was seen this November could very well be one of the Google balloons.
Project Loon by Google was created so that even the hard-to-reach regions of the world can get wireless internet access with the help of balloons.
These polyethylene balloons are extremely sturdy and carry special equipments that help in transmitting in-ground signals which then sends wireless internet to users with special internet antenna attached to their building.
However, Google hasn't come up with any official announcement claiming that the flying orb was one of their balloons. So, the UFO speculation carries on.
