According to latest reports "Gossip Girl" actor Chace Crawford will appear in "Glee's" special episode and will play the love interest of an important character on the show.
Chace Crawford is best known for his role as Nate Archibald on CW series "Gossip Girl." It seems that the actor will now make an appearance on another popular series. According to E!Online, he will be on the popular musical drama series "Glee." Crawford will play Dianna Agron's boyfriend, whom she brings back to Lima to meet her friends. His character is a "Yalie degenerate" named Biff.
Whether the role is a permanent one or just a guest appearance to mark the 100th episode of the popular television series hasn't been revealed though many tabloids have reported the actor's role in Glee as a "guest appearance."
However, a source, while confirming to Us Weekly that Crawford will indeed be a part of Glee's 100th episode also mentioned that the character won't be singing - "at least not now!" The last part of the comment makes us wonder whether Crowford's appearance will lead him to land a permanent role in this award winning show.
"Chace is excited to work with [series co-creator] Ryan Murphy and his longtime friend Matthew Morrison," the insider tells Us. "He knows most of the other cast as well. His character will not be singing -- as of now."
Crawford will not be the only one making an appearance on the show's 100th episode. According to Rolling Stones, Gwyneth Paltrow will reprise her character in the upcoming two-part episode, which airs on March 18th and 25th. The actress appeared in Glee in 2011 in a guest spot as substitute teacher Holly Holliday.
