Keith Urban proud of Nicole Kidman’s parenting skills

Keith Urban couldn't have been more proud of his wife's, Nicole Kidman, parenting skills.

During the premiere of Nicole's new movie "Lion" in New York City, the couple talked to ET. According to Keith, "[Nicole] is an incredible mom. Loving, maternal, and [she's] teaching me a lot about how to raise children, especially girls."

Keith and Nicole share two daughters, Sunday Rose, 8 and Faith Margaret, 5.

Keith explained that being raised in an all-boys house, it's a bit challenging for him to learn how to raise daughters. And he is learning new things every day.

Nicole also added that the girls sometimes teach her about the ongoing fashion trend as well.

Nicole's daughters have asked their mom not to pick them from school wearing sweatpants or jeans. They have also advised Nicole to dress up all nice with a pair of heels, a good hairstyle and some make up when collecting the girls from school.

The "Paddington" actress is also a mother of two adoptive kids, daughter Isabella, 23 and son Connor, 21, whom she shares with ex-husband Tom Cruise.

Talking about her character in "Lion" the actress admitted that as her character was that of an adoptive mom, it was very relatable. She felt connected with the character due to her own experience as a mother with adopted kids.

She further announced that the movie is a love letter to her children, according to The Hamilton Spectator.

As per Nicole her character Sue is "deeply maternal and full of unconditional love" for her adoptive kids. Nicole stated like this is why she took the role because she feels the same way for Isabella and Connor.

The actress further said that nothing else matters but the fact that she wanted her two adoptive children in her life.

According to her, no matter where her kids decide to go in their life, she will always be there to love and support them. That's what "Lion" is about and that's why she feels connected to.
