Apple's AirPods may be available sooner than techie fans have expected. According to new leak, the comopany's wireless earphones will be shipped by end of this month.
A European reseller recently claims that Apple's $159 AirPods wireless headphones will start shipping right after the German authorized reseller, Conrad revealed to a customer that it would be kicking off AirPods on November 18.
According to Mac4Ever, a French retailer Fnac have also started the pre-order process of the wireless earphones and would start shipping on or around Wednesday of November 30, just in time for holiday shopping.
During the Apple's September event, the AirPods were supposed to be launch in the late October. However, the company released a statement that they still need time before the gadget will be ready for the customers.
"The early response to AirPods has been incredible. We don't believe in shipping a product before it's ready, and we need a little more time before AirPods are available for our customers," Apple told TechCrunch.
One of the AppleInsider said that some of the Apple retail stores are already having their demo units and are now waiting for a word from Cupertino to start demonstrating the product. Earlier this week, there was information reported that the Czech retailer Alza had listed the device to launch in December 2016. Barclays also predicted that the production of the AirPods would begin in December which means that the earphones would not be available until 2017.
Apple Company has also listed AirPods on its website for $159, but it was clearly marked that the earphones are still unavailable. The said wireless headset is equipped with a six-hour battery, but it was extended up to 24 hours before the battery inside needs recharging.
Its accessory uses Apple's in-house designed W1 wireless chip which enables features like invoking Siri by double tapping one of the AirPods and zero-configuration pairing with multiple Apple devices through iCloud.
