American supernatural drama television series, Sleepy Hollow, got renewed for another season in May this year and is announced to premiere its first episode for fourth season on January next year.
Following this announcement, fans and followers of the drama series could not hide their excitement and several rumors about the show's possible upcoming plot have also started surfacing online.
Dread Central reported that the series will return next year with a season full of supernatural creatures and perplexing events that can add more to the enthusiasm of the fans. It is also reported that the truth behind the lives of the witnesses will be shown in the upcoming season.
The last season of the series suggested that Tom Mison's character, Ichabod Crane found out the catastrophic death of fellow Witness, FBI Agent Abbie Mills, portrayed by Nicole Beharie. International Business Times reported that the upcoming season will kick off with Crane dealing with the supernatural creatures.
This is done by finding the second witness and continuing to battle for the good with the help of Abbie Mill's sister, Jenny, portrayed by actress Lyndie Greenwood. The premiere of the upcoming season will also show the main protagonist to move to another location where he will meet with new companies. Actor Jerry MacKinnon will join the demon hunters and will play the role of a skilled supernatural events specialist.
The main cast of the supernatural series namely, Tom Mison, John Noble and Lyndie Greenwood, will return to reprise their roles on the new season. And it was reported that the fans and viewers will also see new faces at the season premiere next year.
The cast and crew of the series are currently filming for Season 4 in Atlanta and this will be the very first season for the series with Nicole Beharie's absence. TV Line also reported that Fox moved the schedule for Sleepy Hollow to Fridays starting on its premiere on January 6.
