This year's Thanksgiving Day isn't going to be a great holiday for the Jolie-Pitt family. Even as it gets nearer, the six children are heartbroken about spending it without their father.
Said a source to HollywoodLife: "Brad and the children are upset and saddened as they begin to plan for their first Thanksgiving apart from each other. Angelina & Brad have been discussing, via their assistants, how they are going to handle Thanksgiving with the children."
The six children - 15-year-old Maddox, 12-year-old Pax, 11-year-old Zahara, 10-year-old Shiloh, and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne - will be with their mother on Thanksgiving night. However, there are plans by Pitt to undergo a delayed traditional dinner with his loved ones.
Said the source: "It looks like the kids might be eating a lot of Turkey as Angelina insists they spend Thanksgiving day with her while Brad is asking that the children come over on another day, maybe Friday or Saturday, to enjoy a traditional dinner with him and his side of the family."
The devastated children are pleading with their parents to get back together. "The kids are not handling the news well and are still begging their parents to get back together but Angelina has been letting them know, that's not going to happen," added the source.
It is puzzling why Angelina Jolie is keeping her children away from their father, even though the LAPD has cleared Brad Pitt of child abuse charges. She has accused Pitt of hitting Maddox, but it still doesn't make sense why she should subject her brood to so much mental torture. Even if Pitt had been having 'angry' fits with them, it would still be easier on them to spend time with their parents, rather than separating them.
