"Star Wars: Rouge One" is all set to mark the return of the most famous Sith Lord of all times, Darth Vader. It is now rumored that Darth Vader will now be seen in more intimidating and cruel role as compared to his appearance in all the previous "Star Wars" movies.
According to Digital Spy, Darth Vader and his Empire will be seen taking all measures to prevent the Rebels from taking away the map plan of the Death Star in "Star Wars: Rouge One." The movie, scheduled to be released in the third week of December, is the pseudo prequel to "Star Wars: A New Hope."
"Star Wars: A New Hope" described the storyline of how the Rebels form a strategy against the Empire to destroy the death star. To attempt such an attack, the Rebels first steal the Death Star plan. "Star Wars: Rouge One" now focuses on how the Rebels steal the plan at the first place to destroy Death Star.
According to Cinema Blend, the total on screen time that Darth Vader would get in the upcoming film is not yet clear. However, the iconic villain is expected to play a key role in the berating of the main villain in "Star Wars: Rouge One," Orson Krennic.
The publication reports that Darth Vader will be seen confronting Krennic, the Director of Advanced Weapons Research in the Imperial Army, on how the Empire should wait and then display the true power of the Death Star. However, Krennic follows his own orders and decides to disobey what is suggested by Darth Vader.
It is also speculated that Emperor Palpatine may have asked Darth Vader to talk to Krennic or he may have went to talk to him on his own. However, the brief interaction between the two villains will be followed by an attack on planet Jedha, as per the orders given by Krennic to the troops.
As a result, Krennic will experience a downfall and it is rumored that he may be choked by Darth Vader using the Force.
