'The Voice' coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton have been on the show ever since it first aired on NBC but it looks like Season 13 will not see them on the judges' panel. What is more, 2016 edition might have to do without Levine as he is reportedly quitting the show due to feuds with Miley Cyrus.
The feud between Miley Cyrus and judges Blake Shelton and Adam Levine seems to have reached such a point that both have decided to sit out Season 13, reports Inquisitr. The duo is considering leaving the show so that they do not have to share the dais with Cyrus. Insiders claim that the two feel that they have run their course on the show and thus, it would not be a bad idea to bid goodbye.
In fact, they are also thinking of taking Gwen Stefani along with them. It is said that when the producers announced Cyrus' return for Season 13, they were not pleased with it. Though Shelton did not voice his anger clearly, Levine is rumored to be highly miffed with the declaration. He allegedly just cannot stand Cyrus and feels that she is the most obnoxious person ever.
Shelton might not have shown such frankness but he is also said to have talked to producers and demanded the return of his girlfriend Gwen Stefani for Season 12, claims TechPlz. He is believed to have told the showrunners that he would not return if Stefani is not finalized, thereby, forcing the producers to make Cyrus sit out for Season 12 but they took her in for Season 13.
However, some also say that it was not Shelton who led to Cyrus' ouster, it was her own behavior that led to the decision. Not just Shelton and Levine, others were also not happy with her. Last but not the least, there is a section that says the falling ratings of the show forced the producers to take in Stefani as viewers would be excited to watch her along with her real-life boyfriend on television.
It is worth mentioning here that as of now only Cyrus has been finalized for Season 13 and it remains to be seen who others make it to the panel of 'The Voice' along with her.
