"Game of Thrones" fans have been long anticipating the big showdown between King of the North Jon Snow and the Night King with his dead army of Wights. The latest spoilers for Season 7 seem to build this plot into reality.
As the GOT fan site Watchers on the Wall (WOTW) reported, a giant set of green screens and an artificially frozen lake was built at Wolf Hill Quarry near Belfast. The sources revealed that the filming in Wolf Hill will start later this week.
And this is going to be big. How big? Well, big as in 300 extras portraying as Wights and huge 3-week shooting schedule in Wolf Hill.
The number of extras itself is a dead giveaway that the sequence is bound to be dynamic and very detailed. Assuming that the crew won't be adding CGI effects to increase the Wights number, 300 is still a pretty large army.
The three weeks shooting schedule is another key point about how epic this scene is going to be. Last time, a battle sequence was shot for almost this long, viewers received the "Hardhome."
Therefore, it is not wrong to expect a "Hardhome 2" or probably something much bigger than that is coming in Season 7.
Another spoiler from the WOTW claimed that the plot of the seventh season revolves around the Stark children.
According to the sources, the Stark siblings will reunite this season. We already know that Sansa and Jon (well he is not technically a Stark, but we've always seen him as one) are already in Winterfell. It seems like Bran and Arya are not far from joining the family.
That does raise some interesting questions on what to expect from this reunion. Will Sansa and Arya butt head like always? How Bran being the three-eyed raven will help the Starks in future endeavors? And what Littlefinger hopes to gain from this situation?
Another major spoiler, which is kind of a relief for Sansa fans, is that she is and will not get pregnant this season.
