‘Dragon Ball Super’ Episodes 67 Review, 68 Preview

Episode 67 started with Goku congratulating Trunks for doing an exceptional job on the battlefield against Zamasu. Goku named Trunks' sword Genki-Dama. Meanwhile, Trunks said that everyone's power helped in defeating Zamasu.

Elsewhere, Kaioshin said that Goku and Vegeta used up their power while executing the Final Kamehameha in the Vegetto mode.

Zamasu is spreading after being sliced by Trunks' sword of humanity. Meanwhile, Whis felt that something was wrong and Beerus said that Future Zamasu is affecting the present.

Trunks was unable to feel anyone's ki as Zamasu has killed them all.

Goku looked in his pocket for senzu but finds the button. He wondered if it will work to call Future Omni-King. He pressed the button and it works.

Future Omni-King appeared and confused while looking at the state of the world and asked if Goku has anything to do about it.

Goku screamed and told everyone to board the time machine, meanwhile, Kaioshin and Gowasu used their time rings to escape.

Omni-King declared that this world will disappear. Beerus told Gowasu to choose his disciple wisely. Goku headed back to the future and Kaioshin took him to meet present Omni-King.

Grand Priest asked if all this was Whis' plan, but it was Goku's idea. It is also revealed that the Grand Priest is Whis' father.

Whis explained that it is possible for Trunks to return to his own timeline. But, Mai wanted to stay in the present where she battled with people who are alive.

Gowasu admitted that it was all his mistake and puts the time rings away. Bulma told Future Trunks and Mai if they can bring grandchildren from the future.

"Dragon Ball Super" Episode 67 ended with Trunks and Mai heading to an alternate timeline.

Episode 68 preview

The "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 68 is expected to wrap up the current arc as it was confirmed that the forthcoming episode will start a new arc, with a storyline that teases the possible appearance of the strongest known assassin to fight Goku.

The latest confirmation comes from V-Jump magazine's January 2017 issue. The translated synopsis for the new arc, which will start in this episode, hinted that the strongest known assassin will finish Goku in the upcoming arc, according to Yonkou Productions.
