Taylor Swift and Drake's relationship status is an ongoing topic fans love to speculate about. Catching this opportunity, Apple Music's new commercial features Drake bench pressing while lip syncing to Taylor's "Bad Blood".
According to CNET, the rapper was initially enjoying mimicking the hit song while dancing and exercising. But then he got so immersed in the music that he couldn't lift his barbell and it drops off his chest following Drake falling on the floor.
The ad is titled "Drake vs. Bench Press", with the tagline "distractingly good".
This ad can be termed as Part 2, because earlier this year Apple Music launched a similar ad with Taylor Swift. Taylor was on a treadmill, lip syncing to "Jumpman" by Drake and Future, when she got distracted and fell flat on her face.
Shortly after the ad was premiered, Drake shared the clip on his Instagram account. In a bizarre move, he captioned the picture as #SwiftGains, #LightWork, and #Draylor.
Did Drake just invent Taylor's and his ship name? Meanwhile, Taylor also Instagramed the same clip but she didn't include the term "Draylor". Is it because she is in a relationship with Tom Hiddleston?
Drake's subtle inclusion of naming their duo has left the fans speculating that the rapper might be interested in Taylor romantically. The ship name is sure to take the fandom by storm.
Although, according to E!, an insider revealed previously that they are neither dating nor hooking up. Both of them are just friends.
It has been reported that Drake and Taylor Swift currently collaborating on a music video together. According to a source "the music they have been working on is different. Very catchy. They've both been having a great time in the studio."
Rumors of them dating started to fly around when at Taylor's 30th birthday party, Drake was spotted with an arm around her shoulder and both of them deep in conversation.
