Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber, who are popularly known as 'Jelena' from their fans and shippers, are rumored to be finally ending their connection. At the recent American Music Awards 2016, the 'Kill Em With Kindness' songstress had made an emotional speech, which fans believed was for Bieber.
Gomez's appearance at the event was her first public appearance after her time at the rehabilitation center where she checked in herself back in September. It has been reported that one of the reason why she chose to go into te facility was because of her depression from her past relationship with the fellow popstar.
According to Hollywood Take, the recent speech that the songstress made at the AMAs 2016 was at some point dedicated to Bieber. A part of the speech said, "I had to stop, 'cause I had everything and I was absolutely broken inside." Following this, the former celebrity lovers' fans think that the singer is still broken about missing her time with the 22-year old heartthrob.
Their fans are also worried that they may not ever be getting back together anytime soon. It can be recalled that the two have been constantly rumored to be rekindling their romance during the 24-year old singer's time in the rehab.
There were even speculations about them getting married but it seems false now because of Gomez's AMA speech, which conclusively means that she is now moving on with her life and go through with her career while distancing herself from Bieber.
Australia Network also reported that the 'Love Yourself' singer is not looking for a relationship right now. His past lovers include Hailey Baldwin and Sofia Richie, which both ended abruptly.
Meanwhile it has been rumored that Gomez and former One Direction member, Niall Horan may be sparking romance at the AMAs 2016. According to Ace Showbiz, the two have been spotted having a warm embrace at the event, which Horan has posted on his social media account, telling the singer that he is impressed with her.
Fans are looking for a possible romance between the two but as for now, this remains a speculation.
