NFL Draft Rumors; Chiefs Select Eric Fisher with No. 1 Pick? Tim Tebow to be Traded?

With the 2013 NFL draft hours away, teams are readying in their war rooms and the trade chatter is reaching crescendo.

While Kansas City coach Andy Reid has been known to trade down, Reid said he has already decided whom he will pick tonight. Charean Williams of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram tweeted that the Chiefs will select Eric Fisher with their No. 1 pick.

St. Louis Rams general manager Les Snead describes the atmosphere (via NFL):

"Not sure if this year is any different than last year, but really, right now, everybody's flirting with each other. There's no dating going on here. No marriages. So, until someone asks someone to marry them - and that will come tonight - that's when we'll know the value of moving up or down in this draft."

The Rams are in a position to move up or down in the draft with their two first-round draft picks. According to NFL.com's Jeff Darlington, the Rams are looking to move up from their 16th pick and down from their 22nd.

In the waning hours before the draft, many teams are gauging each other's interests. NFL.com reports that the Oakland Raiders are listening to several offers for their No. 3 pick, the Cleveland Browns are rumored to want to move up for Louisiana State defensive end Barkevious Mingo and the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills are considering moving up for West Virginia receiver Tavon Austin.

The Miami Dolphins and San Diego Chargers are reportedly interested in moving up as well.

Players are also potentially up for grabs. New England Patriots backup quarterback Ryan Mallet is being mentioned as a possible target by teams. And, of course, the New York Jets' Tim Tebow could potentially find a new home tonight.

While the increased chattering could be posturing or rhetoric, tonight's draft could potentially have a lot of first round moves. You can watch the 2013 NFL draft on ESPN tonight at 7 p.m. EST.
