Looks like viewers of 'The Voice' just cannot watch the singing reality show without its two veteran coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, who have graced the judges' panel in all the eleven seasons. They are threatening to boycott the show and Miley Cyrus over rumors of the two sitting out Season 13.
Fans are venting out their anger on social media and making it clear that they would not watch 'The Voice' without Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, reports Inquisitr. Some also warned about boycotting the series entirely if the controversial Miley Cyrus takes over. One such fan tweeted that Miley can go and they want just Levine and Shelton. The anger is palpable and Cyrus seems to be at the receiving end of their fury.
Notably, rumors of Shelton and Levine sitting out Season 13 because of a feud with Cyrus have been doing the rounds for a long time. It is said that the two coaches cannot see eye to eye with the young songstress. Levine is particularly miffed with her and finds her highly obnoxious so much so that he cannot stand her. So, he would not return for Season 13 as Cyrus has been confirmed for the same. Well, the truth is yet to be revealed because neither Shelton nor Levine has spoken anything about their exit.
Meanwhile, it has come to the light that Christina Aguilera and Pharrell Williams would be joining Cyrus along with Levine for Season 13, claims Cyrus news source @TeamCyrusHD on Twitter. This means that Shelton would be left out and so would be his girlfriend Gwen Stefani who is doing Season 12 along with him, Levine and Alicia Keys.
The scenario does look disturbing for the showrunners as it would be difficult to manage the ego-clashes of these celebrity singers. However, no confirmation or denial has been made by the team as yet and therefore, it all boils down to speculations and thus, fans would do well to wait for some official announcement.
It is worth mentioning here that Blake Shelton and Adam Levine are said to be having the belief that they have run their course on the show and it would be a good idea to bid it farewell rather than continuing their feuds with Miley Cyrus.
