This is it! After 11 weeks of intense competition on "Dancing with the Stars," it all came down to the final three! On Tuesday, Nov. 22, the remaining celebs wrapped up Season 23.
This Thanksgiving, fans can gather in dining rooms and thanks for Dancing With the Stars Season 23. After all, it is the season that gave them Khal Drogo; many were moved to tears, thanks to a Willy Wonka-themed Viennese Waltz; bore witness to the strange bromance of Vanilla Ice and Rick Perry; an engagement and a ballroom shower; and an Urkel sighting.
But before all could find out if the gold medalist fulfilled her DWTS destiny, Tuesday's finale was a two-hour-long nostalgia trip, filled with reprises of memorable routines and montages of Tom Bergeron swearing.
The three finalists were also scored one last time, by way of their 24-hour fusion performances, the results of which are denoted below:
* James Hinchcliffe and pro Sharna Burgess - Foxtrot/Viennese Waltz - 40/40
* Calvin Johnson and pro Lindsay Arnold - Quickstep/Jive - 40/40
* Laurie Hernandez and pro Val Chmerkovskiy - Foxtrot/Argentine Tango - 40/40
Maureen McCormick got to live out her dream by dancing with a whole gaggle of very handsome men, including Baby face and Ryan Lochte.
Bruno's dreams come true when Jana and Gleb dance their group shower Argentine tango one last time.
"My dreams come true before my eyes as Vanilla Ice performs 'Ice Ice Baby' live on Dancing With the Stars. (So, Rick Perry isn't there in my actual dream, but I can't say his turn as Ice's DJ was wholly unwelcome.) And then all of America's dreams come true when the men of the ballroom dance to Bruno Mars' '24K Magic'," Bruno said.
In the end, Laurie and Val did nab first place, while James and Sharna took second and Calvin and Lindsay placed third.
"My goal is just to inspire others as I go on with my journey," the gymnast (and newly-crowned Mirror-ball champ) said, adding with a grin, "Thanks for being there for me!"
